After a two-year hiatus, CAJE has brought back its 4th Annual Miami Jewish Day School Robotics Festival!

In mid-May, 150 students from 8 schools gathered at Scheck Hillel Community School to compete in various challenges and showcase what they’ve learned throughout the year.

Our 8 participating schoolsBrauser Maimonides AcademyThe Gordon SchoolHochberg Lower School–Posnack EastLehrman Community Day SchoolLubavitch Educational Center (LEC)Rambam Day School Temple Beth AmScheck Hillel Community SchoolToras Emes Academy, and Yeshiva Elementary School worked diligently to get ready for the Festival along with our local coach, Ilana Traub (#LehrmanDaySchool).

Ilana is instrumental in the training of our teachers at the beginning of the year and in the planning and scheduling of the Festival.

Everyone knows that Legos are great connectors, but they have also proven to be a game changer for innovative education.

“The Festival is such a meaningful experience for our boys. They not only learn how to program, how to build, and how to problem-solve, but most of all, they learn how to work together and be good to each other. They will remember this experience for the rest of their lives.”

The Robotics Program and the Festival bring together students from our diverse community of Jewish day schools and yeshivot in their shared love of Robotics.

“The unity, the friendships, the camaraderie brought out through the Robotics program and festival is really special. Additionally, the sensitivity that was shown in creating an environment that is inclusive for everyone is really tremendous - Thank you CAJE!”

~ Rabbi Yaakov Garfinkel, Lubavitch Educational Center

Planning is already underway for the 2022-2023 Miami Jewish Day School Robotics Program.
